Theresa Kasun is a figuratively trained artist and painting expert.

Theresa’s paintings are in the collections of Brooke Shields, Steven and Alex Cohen and others.

Her realistic donut and dessert paintings have become sought after collectable art pieces.

Her style of painting is a combination of the techniques and philosophies of the Impressionists, (BFA, Kansas City Art Institute), and the techniques and philosophies of the Renaissance painters. (MFA, New York Academy of Art).

Being a huge baseball fan and having lived in Queens, she decided to paint, En Plain Air, at Citi Field, when she heard the Cohens bought the Mets. 

Theresa has been capturing moments in time and specific scenes of Citi Field at Mets home games since 2020.

Theresa’s still life paintings of wine and food during the 2000’s became some of the top selling kitchen textile products sold in major retail stores including, BB&B, Linens & Things, Walmart and more; making it evident that her creativity and paintings are in demand and resonate with thousands of American consumers.

Theresa is also known for her holiday window painting throughout the boroughs of NYC. 

She has been painting windows since she graduated from NYAA in 1992 and is working on a book, “Window Painting in NYC; Thirty Years and Counting.”
